As I sit and get back into my writing I realize that pretty much every story we tell has elements drawn from other stories out there. I reminds me of a Pratchett novel discussing stories and how they affect our civilization. I'm really happy to be a part of the story telling but sometimes I wonder if I'm not being original.
It's moments like this that I remember there is very little original left in the world and all art is mostly re-imagining older things in new and fascinating ways. It may be the same story idea that has been told innumerable times before, but this time it has something new and different. It may just be the simple idea that it's being told through my rose tinted glasses, and I guess that's all that matters.

All caught up
Recently I've been trying to expand my daily duties and get more creative every day. One part of that was writing at least 500 words every day. I was doing well initially then I started splitting my writing between multiple stories. While I was still writing 500 words every day, I was not posting a story every day.
If you write 100 words on each of 5 stories you're still doing 500 words a day at least, but unable publish that tiny bit on each for people to read. As of today I'm back up to date with all my stories. There will always be a new one (or part of one) out every day so be sure to go there often and read. I really do like feedback :)
Now it's time to get over to Ape Wind and finish up 2 articles sitting in the queue.
